I began capturing images on film at the age of 18 when my parents gifted me a camera for graduation. The limited amount of images on a roll of film forced me to really observe the beauty in the world, and the people around me.
I have 2 little boys, and have found my groove in being a "boy mama." Having children changed my photography for the better, because it reminds me everyday how fast time really goes.
Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them. I now shoot mostly digital, but still edit for a soft film aesthetic that's timeless.
I believe in real moments and chasing sunsets. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.

The only plant I can keep alive on my own... thankfully my mom has a green thumb and keeps the rest of the plants looking great!
Succulents...
Keith and I got scuba certified together - we share a love for being underwater. We love to travel to anywhere with beautiful water! Grand Cayman is a favorite for the shore diving and of course the Bahamas are so close! Green Turtle Cay is near and dear to our heart!

Being a mama is my highest calling. I love photography and I love being a nurse, but there is nothing better than raising tiny humans. My boys keep me on my toes and I like it that way. Keith and I celebrated 15 years of marriage last year & I am so thankful for the joy all 3 of these boys brings to my life!

I accepted my first paid photography gig while I was in nursing school at 19 years old & while I would have hardly called myself a professional back then, I have happily grown in both my professions over the years.
Being a nurse in an acute care setting has only enhanced my skills as a photographer (bonus- I remain chill during wedding day hiccups!) I have learned to look for the real moments unfolding behind the scenes on a wedding day. I can quickly tell who the extra special people in your life are - and I will make sure I freeze those fleeting moments for you.
